Hi Khrisha. While we’re currently paying writers via Stripe in more than 60 countries, I’m sorry that it’s not supported for yours. We definitely hear you about additional payment options beyond Stripe. It’s not something we’re working on currently, but we will definitely keep it in mind as we expand the Partner Program.
Aman — thanks for your note. We definitely hear you on additional options beyond Stripe. It’s not something we’re working on currently, but we will definitely keep it in mind as we expand the Partner Program.
Hi Anokina! If you choose not to be reviewed (or uncheck the distribution box), your post will be linked to from your Medium profile, and you can share the URL of your post with anyone outside of Medium (via email, social media, etc.). And it will also be available to people who follow you via their “New From Your Network” section. Hope this helps!
Erwin — thanks for the feedback! Indeed, one of the things that we’ve learned is that popularity doesn’t necessarily correlate with quality. But I appreciate that you want to know more about how people are engaging with stories before you make the decision to read!
Moshe — thanks for the feedback. Indeed, right now the Partner Program only supports paying writers via Stripe, and we know there are countries that Stripe doesn’t support. We will definitely keep PayPal in mind for a future update.
Sorabh — thanks for the feedback! At the moment, the Partner Program only supports payouts via Stripe, which we know doesn’t support every country. We will keep PayPal in mind for future updates!
Hey Liz — thanks for the question! If you are participating in our Partner Program, articles can start to earn money (based on engagement from members) as soon as they’re published. An article doesn’t have to be reviewed and approved by curators to start to earn you money. You may be familiar with this already, but for more information about how stories earn money in the Partner Program, you can learn more here.
Hi, Maurice! We are definitely growing our team of curators beyond 20, and curators are the final step in a filtering and queuing process that takes other factors from the story into account. We’re constantly evolving that system, and we are exploring new ways to make sure that readers find the great stories on Medium that are right for them.
