Suppose ,If the maha dasa load is Mecury, then we have to look for all the other ashtaka vargas (Except Mercury’s). In case if that bhava where merc. occupied has 0 bindus or no positive marks , then the loadship of that bhava load suffer humiliation. That’s what it means?

Ashtaka varga of any graha is that where that particular graha is auspicious with positive marks from other grahas. Suppose that mercury is in 5th bhava where in sun’s ashtaka varga has 0 bindu. Then my perception is that sun has negative effects with regard to 5th bhava. I think sun has nothing to do with mercury unless sun is auspicious from merc. by giving a point to sun. But the 5th bhava load’s Maha Dasha may be inauspicious in regard to sun’s attributes as there are no marks in that bhava.

This is how I understand interpretation 1. I am afraid how far it is in agreement with yours please.
