Andela Kenya Class V Boot Camp

Day 4

We begin today’s class with a discussion on the various ways to improve code/ program speed.
We are told that next week we’ll cover Flask, a web application development framework for python. Those who’ll work on web app projects will be using Flask.

As evening approaches, everyone is waiting to find out whether they’ve been selected for the second week.
At around 4pm, the selection committee starts calling us, one by one at first, and then in small groups, to inform us of their decision. After waiting for a while, my turn arrives. I head to the office (nervous), with three other boot campers and we are informed that we’ve been selected to participate in the second week of boot camp. 
I leave the office very pleased.

During the second week, we’ll each be assigned a project to work on, that we have to complete and present by the end of the week. But … I’ll worry about that tomorrow. Today, I just want to savor the fact that I’ve successfully made it through week 1.
