Last week, we wanted to honor our corporate payroll staff company-wide via social media, and get involved in National Payroll Week! A nationwide movement, NPW honors payroll staff members for their tireless effort and work. How long have you worked at SIS? “I have been with SIS since January 2014, first as a Receptionist. I moved into the Payroll Dept. in August 2014.”
Why is SIS different? “SIS has such a family-feeling environment, unlike any other I have worked in.”
Payroll Quick Tip “Keep your address updated, be conscientious of what benefits you can reasonably afford, and enroll in direct deposit.
Fun Fact “I saw a special screening of ‘From Here to Eternity’ which included a panel discussion.”

How long have you worked at SIS? “I’m a newbie, since this July.”
Why is SIS different? “Great colleagues that know how to work hard and play hard!”
Payroll Quick Tip “Remember to keep track of when you clock-in and out. If you ever notice any discrepancies, reach out to your Supervisor as soon as possible so that they can update your punches.”
Fun Fact “I’ve always wanted to try a martial art, so I recently took the plunge and have been learning ‘Atarashii Naginata’ — the art of wielding a Japanese pole weapon called a Naginata. You never know just how big a Japanese pole arm is until you have to walk through a house with one.”

Why is SIS different? “The difference between SIS and other companies I would have to say is the amazing culture. I don’t dread waking up in the mornings to come to work because I know I am coming to work along side awesome people who I consider family.”
