What made a rejected enthusiast to leader?

Resilience not taught in schools it is a self learning subject. Before introducing it let me introduce its cousins commitment, positive attitude & optimism. All are relatively similar but are not synonyms. Your reactions to adverse setbacks and hopeless conditions determines your Resilience.
Two of my friends who were identical twins choose the same habit of basketball in school. They were very hard working, equally talented. Within no time they were listed in probables for the school team. But both cannot make into the final list. One felt stressed out, disgraced and depressed stopped turning for daily practice. He stepped out unhappily and felt uncomfortable when the topic came by. The other guy too felt less confident but turned for daily. He kept saying let me make some effort from my part eventually boosting his confidence level. By pre-final year he was into the team and was the team captain in the final year eventually were the winners of the city level all school basket ball trophy. The best part of the story was now. Our school basket ball team coach on the occasion said
“ To be a great leader you need to have the ability to face a situation how brighter or darker it turns out to be”
Both the twins have the same technical abilities to excel so the coach decided to test their non-technical abilities where the captain proved his mettle and resilient nature. This striking difference how they dealt with the same situation got me the importance of Resilient
‘A Child Called It’ was a story about resilience, it was never about boo hoo hoo, it was about a kid that didn’t quit.
Dave Pelzer
We have seen many inspiring comebacks in various fields and spheres of life. They have one quality in common: Resilience. Many factors set us our initial levels of resilience but I believe it can be improved that is the somewhat unknown feature of it. Resilience is a mental discipline that can be cultivated with patience and deliberate practice.
“Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose”
Dr. Frankl
Your purpose, vision and dreams are of higher importance. To achieve that these qualities acts as building tools.
Journeys are as important as destinations.
