Weekend Challenge — Complete

Weekend (Challenge) complete. Week 1 over.

The challenge was mostly a rehash of what we had done during the week. A revision of classes, methods, and doubles. I’m still not entirely sure I understand doubles but I am sure that it’ll click with time and practice.

As far as I can tell, doubles are used as placeholders for objects. They allow you to test how one object works inside of another without worrying about any changes that are made to the original object affecting. This makes them an extremely useful tool when it comes to testing in RSpec. I get this, I just don’t really get how to use them and the syntax, but like I say, I’ll get there.

Anyway, I’m off now to get some sleep, got a long day ahead of me tomorrow.

On the music front: this is this weekend felt like for me, I imagine I’m going to have to get used to this.
