The San Fransisco To-Do List.

Knock them off as you wish!

1. Dolours Park

The first place I visited in San Francisco. Head all the way to the very back corner for the best view. Watch out for the lady who sells brownies. I cycled home feeling like E.T after consuming three of them. Not what they seem!

2. SS JEREMIAH O’BRIEN

Stay on a world war two ship for $40 a night over looking Alcatraz. This was also the ship where Titanic engine rooms were filmed in.

3. Japanese Tea Garden

The oldest Japanese Tea gardens in america. Discount prices for anyone who lives in San Francisco.

4. Fairmont Hotel

5. Conservatory of Flowers

6. Leela Imrpov

After graduating college and arriving four days later to work at the Monkey Inferno, I noticed a common theme with all the very best entrepreneurs in the city. They were all effective communicators and quick thinkers. I would strongly recommend this to anyone. Public speaking is one of the biggest fears and improve classes can help really help in so many ways. For $10 for a two hour session, this is a fantastic and extremely effective use of anyone’s time.

7. Black Box

There was a spell in June where I went to a different meetup every night for three straight weeks. Having completely burnt myself out and collecting enough business cards to start up a recycling business. I can safely say of all the events I went to Black Box was hands down the best one. They do not happen often so keep an eye out for them.

8. Forbidden Island

9. Twin Peaks

10.Fort Funtston

“Fort Funston features 200 foot high sandy bluffs on San Francisco’s southwest coast where the winds blow reliably wildly. No surprise it is one of the premier hang-gliding spots in the country. A network of trails make it ideal for hiking and horseback riding. Dog owners will be happy to know they can take leashes off here. It is also home to the Fort Funston Native Plant Nursery.”

11. Smugglers Cove

12. Blue Bottle Coffee

“I will only sell coffee less than 48 hours out of the roaster to my customers, so they may enjoy coffee at its peak of flavor. I will only use the finest organic, and pesticide-free, shade-grown beans.” James Freeman

13. The Battery

Private members club founded by my fellow Englishman and old boss Michael Birch. Rule 19 — “Privacy is rare. We value the escape The Battery offers to its members. Please do not take photos, post photos, or tag people in photos. Be a member of The Battery, not its mayor.”

14. Golden Gate Bridge.

The best treadmill in the world. Being 1.7 miles long it really does not get much better than this. This has been my gym ever since I have got here, the most inspiring ruining environment. Fantastic place to track your progress from start to finish. Despite the beauty of the bridge it also has a dark side. For those who have not seen the documentary The Bridge — if you can stomach it, worth the watch — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhARXu3wWDc

15. Central Kitchen

One of my favourite in the city. I can’t recommended what to eat as they have a new menu each day. Book well in advance for this one if you want an sensible time to eat, otherwise pitch up at 10 o’clock and you should be able to get in. Tim Ferriss being one of the investors.

16. Boating in Golden Gate Park

17. Exploratorium & De Young Art Gallery

This is a picture taken from De Young Art Gallery looking at Exploratoium. Take the elevator right to the top of the roof tower and you will get an unbelievable view of the city.

18. Giants

The only place where the “nose bleed” tickets are the best. Forget sitting as close to pitch as possible, the higher up you go the better view over the bay.

19. One Taste

I will leave this one for you to explore.

20. Samovar Tea Lounge

Tea is the new Coffee. With three locations (Yerba Buena Gardens, Zen Valley, Castro) and ever expanding, Samovar offers an experience like no other.

21. Claremonet Hotel

22. Coit Tower

23. Audium

176 speaker theatre that plays “sound sculptures” which are performed in darkness in a 49-seat theatre.

24. Kick Boxing — HWA RANG KWAN

Amazing place from beginners, all the way through to experienced practitioners. Keep fit and learn a new skill at the same time.

25. Berratta

26. Hanger one

27. Flour and Water

If you cant get into Central Kitchen, walk down the road you will stumble into this place. However you could still be hungry afterwards as equally hard to get into.

28. Ferry Building

29. Ozumo

30. Philz Coffee

My personal opinion, but I think this is the best coffee in the city which is a bold statement because there are so many fantastic roasters. But if you want a coffee to knock you off your seat and feel like you are driving a jet plane. Try the Greater Alarm mixed with Peruvian blend with cream and no sugar for ultimate taste. After consuming wait 15 minutes and hold onto your seat!

31.Beach Chalet

32. Tonga Room

34. Muir Woods

35. Press Club

36. Sidewalk Juice Bar

37. Opaque Dinning

Five course meal in complete darkness served by bind people. One of the best yelp reviews I have ever read: “Me and my husband went there for our anniversary, however he dropped his piece of salmon and spent the rest of the night looking for it.”

38. State Bird Provisions

Fantastic place to try many different dishes, specializing in quail. Although each dish is reasonably priced, it is very easily to get carried away. So make sure your counting your plates as you order!

39. Fat Angel

40. Sons and Daughters

41. Sundance Theatre

Founded by Robert Redford watch a movie and enjoy a cocktail, beer or wine, and have an interesting snack. There is no other place to watch a movie quite like the Sundance Kabuki.

42. Bourbon & Branch

43. Jack London Pub

One of the coolest places you will ever walk into! A MUST )
