UPDATE: Photographs taken around Lulworth Cove in Dorset in 2011
This is an update to a post I originally wrote in 2011, when I took a trip to Dorset to visit the unique landscape of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site in Dorset, southern England.
Circular Lulworth Cove, which is almost fully enclosed by its headlands, is one of the world’s finest examples of such a landform and is a tourist location with over 1 million visitors a year.
Nearby is Stair Hole and the spectacular rock arch of Durdle Door (pictured above), which I also visited and photographed.
If you’d like to see and read more about some of the fantastic places to visit in the United Kingdom, you would do well to go look at Your RV Lifestyle. Janice, who writes on that site, has written a really great detailed guide on the 100 best things to do in England. It is over 10,000 words and packed with practical tips and advice. You can find it here.
