And, if the company is big enough that you work in a separate HR department:
- DON’T send the applicant to an office building that the operational department moved out of two years ago, or to the wrong town
- DON’T send a letter on Friday to the successful applicant, dated next Monday, telling them that they haven’t got the job
- DON’T EVER call people “Resources”
- in fact, just DON’T.
