People are strange.

Over in Cambridge (work) there is a street with covered gutters that constantly run with water brought in from slightly higher ground out-of-town. It’s called Hobson’s Conduit. Hobson rented out horses, hence the need for water, and gave rise to the phrase Hobson’s Choice.
