You end up wasting a LOT of time, getting super stressed out, and feeling that you’re lost in the woods without a map most of the time.
But saying “no” has been the driving force behind my success as a freelance writer. Why? More time to work on my growth! Letting go of a toxic client means more time crafting my writing (pro-bono) and making lasting professional connections.
Whatever the issue, it is pretty crushing to see zero return on a month, or months, work.
