I’m not sure there is too much of a difference. Maybe in starting it from scratch compared to taking over something, or inheriting something that was already off the ground… but then a business owner could well be someone doing it first time, or taking on a business that is relatively new, or doing it for the same reasons somebody would start their own business.

I would disagree with the statement that business owners build and serve to a need as again, I think the majority of entrepreneurs are looking to build something that serves a purpose or fixes a problem.

But basically, maybe there isn’t any differences at all?

Great question. I am away to think about this further! Haha.
