iCloud Drive Sync with Android, Windows in Easy Way. (using Google Drive)

Here, Today we’re going to experiment a new way to Sync iCloud Storage (iPhone, iPad and Mac) to the Android, Windows by using the Google Drive Simple tool called “Backup and Sync”. Initially you need mac for the setup, once the setup was successful you can use iCloud in multi devices and sync between them with the help of mac using Google Drive.

Step 1: Download and Install Google Backup and Sync in Mac.

The first and important step in our method is to setup “Google Backup and Sync” in you Mac.

Click and download the Personal and install as usual in your mac.

Step 2: Setting up the iCloud Drive to the Google Backup and Sync.

Sign-in the with your Google Account, in the folder selection time click choose folder and select the iCloud Drive from Finder in your mac. (If iCloud drive is not available, click Go->iCloud Drive in Finder Menu.)

Finish all the traditional (LoL) clicks and complete. Now you’re ready to use iCloud Drive on Google Drive and access iCloud in Android and Windows indirectly through the Google Backup and Sync.

Step 3: Accessing the Files and Folder

After Successful completion of step 2, you can get your iCloud’s files and folders by Google Drive’s Computers Section available in menu.

You can access this in Android, Windows and Browser as well.(even in iPhone, iPad but ;-) YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.)

Advantages:

Since, there is no native method to sync between Android and iOS Eco-System, this way will be useful for multi platform people especially developers.

No need for high technical knowledge, just official available apps with some kind of usage knowledge is enough to setup this.

IDK whether this trick was new or old, but i can’t able to find it anywhere before.

Disadvantages:

One of the major drawback of this trick is you need mac at the time of sync between iCloud Drive and Google Drive, otherwise sync between the iCloud to the Google Drive is not possible!
