Awesome article. Yes, I am living here in Puerto Rico…and see and feel the struggle first hand. Those that leave the island end up living a better life in the states…it is unfortunate. This island is so beautiful and magical. There are so many things that can be done to make PR better. I not Puerto Rican so Im not sure my voice has as much weight as one that is born here…but I love living here and plan to make it work. I have been here for 7 years and I see some easy solutions to many little problems that are happening in my own town of Luquillo. poco a poco, they say.
