Chapter 3 Trading journal #143–08/07/2019 +$136
Had really poor trading today. Not up to my or Albatros Capital Standards.
MU — 1) why I’m trading it 2) Why I’m buying a falling knife via options? Just stupidity and a broken rule
AMD — Why I’m getting chopped in it?
OAS — This is the most stupid thing I’ve done in months. Tried to switch bias from long and short and long.
What I did do well today? Going long options and scratching trades, when they were not working.
Also, the main mistake I made today. TRADE Earnings only of 3-minute charts setups
Did I execute today to my best trading? No.
I need to step back. Trade only my watch list. And chill.
Think today I was losing the perspective, while trading mid-caps. Was watching SPY to close. Should have maybe taken a walk.
Also 2 days in a row I start down -$150. Tomorrow I need to address it. And avoid this type of loss.
Also. When the stock market is trending above 20MA for more than 7–10 consecutive candles. NEVER SELL THE FIRST PULLBACK. Let chasers come in and buy it.
