This is a great piece of work. There has been a catastrophic failure of political, economic, social, religious and academic leadership in the last 40 years. The reasons for this failure are at the moment difficult to discern, but it is possible complacency may have something to do with it. A good example of complacency may be found in areas of social inequality and integration of immigrants into local communities. There has been a general agreement to remain silent about these issues in the name of political correctness. A win of the National Front in France, though not to be welcomed, may in the long run be a blessing in disguise; it is that kind of shock that may serve as a wake up call our leaders desperately need.
