It is not trivial to learn many different languages and stacks, and it is necessary if you want to be a good engineer so you know what tool is right for the job.

How can you scoff at 15 years experience? That does matter. Anyone who has been learning for 15 years is going to be a massive asset to a tech team and will have insight you can only dream of.

I’m sorry you’ve had bad experiences, but your attitude stinks. There are a lot of super talented and smart people out there making software and the internet better every day… for you.
