GladiEther comes with 20 different weapons: swords, axes, hammers and bows.
Each weapon type has its own advantages. Get a sword and be fast and accurate, take a bow and be the first to shoot from distance!
Weapons have feelings!
On purchase, each weapon has its range of possible attack damage, defense, accuracy, attack range and critical hit chance. The random number generator (RNG) will choose the number from range.
But stats is not everything! Weapons are beautiful. Glowing. Shining. With every purchase, there are millions of possible variations on how your weapon will look.
Alchemy
Do you like chemistry ? Even if the answer is no — you will definitely love it. Weapons are upgradable and the way to upgrade your weapons is to become an alchemist. Fuse elixirs into your weapons, eventually they will start glowing and shining, literally! More about alchemy in upcoming articles.
First blood!
Whoah, wanna fight ? GladiEther is expected to have two different game modes on release:
- Weapon vs. weapon — pimp your weapon to the sky and win.
- Army vs. army — upgrading one weapon will not help here. Combine different weapon types, upgrade best ones, build an army!
Exact battle system is yet to be confirmed as well as rewards. Most probably a part of funds from weapon sales will go to a prize pool which will then be used to reward for battles. More about battles in upcoming articles.
Team
We are a team of two: frontend and backend developers. Developing GladiEther is a challenging and exciting job. However, we both are full-time employed developers and developing GladiEther steals all our free time and requires even more.
Pre-sale
Our goal is to work on GladiEther as full-time developers as that would let us build an awesome product. We will start a pre-sale of weapons. You can start building your army of pretty weapons and help us to provide a quality game.
