Peter Hitchens is way cool. We don’t have any public conservatives quite like him in the US. Rod Dreher is the closest analogy that comes to mind immediately. I noticed in some of the things that he has said that he is against Thatcherism and for paternalistic conservatism. Do you know if there’s a place where is explains himself a bit more on that and what his vision of the welfare state is?
