Short-Circuited: Are Music Festival Lineups Really All The Same?
Cherie Hu

As a music biz professional and a big proponent in the importance of data for artists and their representatives, I really appreciated you taking the time to do this analysis.

One thing I want to point out, though, is that the percentage of major label artists in your Top 25 is 56%. Banks and Glass Animals are on Harvest, which is one of Capitol’s labels. Phantogram is on Republic, which is a Universal label. Crystal Castles are on Fiction, which is also owned by Universal. And while Blossoms don’t currently have a US label, they are on Virgin EMI in the UK.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
