Short-Term Rental Dining Room Furniture — with Amazon Links
Whether you are an experienced short-term rental owner, or a first-timer, it’s important to ensure that your home or condo has the minimum requirements for your guests!
In my series of postings, I will provide links for every item that you’ll need to stock in your short-term rental property.
From 2008–2014, I owned and ran Argent Decor, a Vacation Home Furnishing Service, in Phoenix, Arizona. I worked off of a very similar list to provide turn-key packages for vacation homes and short-term rental properties.
With the popularity of Amazon, you can now order everything to complete your home, directly to your door!
The items below will all have 4+ star ratings, and in some cases, we have stocked them in our personal or STR home!
I am an Amazon Affiliate and may earn a small commission if you opt to purchase from my links — this does not impact your pricing in any way.
The Dining Sets will coordinate with the Living Room Options from my previous blog. I avoid full-on “matchy-matchy” sets and also deviate from Ashley and Coaster lines as their options are somewhat limited for this room.
I tend to prefer a large, horizontal mirror in Dining Rooms over art — Dining Rooms can sometimes be a little tight, so a mirror opens the space up visually. It also won’t compete with Living Room art if they are in the same general area.
Please verify your floor space before you order — and you may have to shift slightly, as your dining set seating count must match your maximum rental capacity.
DINING ROOM ESSENTIALS:
PACKAGE ONE:
The Christopher Knight Acacia Table plays off of the iron legs on the TV Console and has rave reviews.
I selected the Parsons Chairs with dark legs and blue fabric — both for a splash of color, and to tie into the blue sofa. It is also more forgiving than light-toned upholstery. These are sold in sets of two for flexibility.
The 60x36" Hand-Made Wood Mirror rounds out the Dining Room.
PACKAGE TWO:
Carrying on the theme of rich wood tones and “x”-shaped details, I have two dining set suggestions here, depending on seating needs and your personal preferences.
The first set is the Caitbrook 7-Piece Set with gray upholstered chairs.
If you want the ability to seat 8, the Dellbeck Extension Table is the way to go. Coordinating chairs are sold in pairs, so if you only want/need six as shown in the photo, you can order three pairs. Two leaves come with the table to expand it, in which case, you can order four pairs of chairs.
For the mirror, I chose something a little more flashy with the Mosiac 66x33" mirror. If it wouldn’t be on the same wall, you could substitute the alternate wall art piece from the Living Room Package #2.
PACKAGE THREE:
For the third package, I wanted to play off of the multi-tone TV Console from the Living Room package #3.
The sturdy Extension Table in walnut and espresso finishes adds interest and depth to your Dining Room presentation.
Fabric Parsons Chairs have high contrast with the lighter fabric and dark legs, just like the sofa.
The beefy Wood Framed Mirror in Black stain looks impressive and makes a statement!
Just like in Living Rooms, although it is not required, some greenery really brings a room to life.
This 7' Olive Tree comes in a pot and has excellent reviews!
107" Plant and Pot — many species and pot styles to choose from.
