Save-to-List UX Design Pattern

While working on my own projects, I noticed some design patterns for any time a user needs to add an item to a list. See what I learned below:

Add one item to one other list

The sites I viewed did this by making a selection in a dropdown menu. The action was permanent and left feedback with a link to the list page or redirected them to the list page automatically.

Add One Item to Multiple Lists

Several sites have different solutions to multi-select, however most of them are a variation of the good ol’ checkbox.
