Black girl Big City (English Please)

I know I live in a predominantly Latino neighborhood but I also live in Manhattan, yes uptown but still Manhattan. I
walk into Subways and try to place an order and no one speaks English at all. I go to McDonalds, Star Bucks and
no one speaks English at all. These are all popular commercial brand stores so I was just a little shocked. How
can sell food and have your menu in English but your employees speak no English. I get so frustrated living here
sometimes because no one speaks English. Either you don’t speak English or everyone here is fucking with me.
My boy friend tells me well you have to learn Spanish. I have to learn Spanish if I go to a Spanish store yes I get
that completely but if I’m in America in an American establishment can I get serviced in English please!
