Make A Child’s Wish Come True
Remember when you were a child and you believed that anything was possible? When was the last time that you made a wish?

The story of Pinocchio is known and loved by many and its main character is a wooden puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy. Jiminy Cricket is the wise cricket in the story that teaches Pinocchio life lessons. He has a famous song that you might have heard of.
When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires will come to you
This story is ingrained in American culture because Pinocchio wished he could be a boy instead of a wooden puppet and his wish came true! Wouldn’t it be amazing for every child to receive what they wish for? Wouldn’t it be incredible if you could help them make their wishes come true in real life?
Good news! There is a way for you to contribute by donating to Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been a pioneer in helping children with life threatening illnesses hope again by giving them something that they wish for. Since 1980, this organization has helped over 270,000 children.

A 7 year-old boy named William is a prime example of dreams coming true through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. William has a congenital heart defect. William was born without a right heart ventricle, in effect giving him half of a working heart. He’s had three surgeries, but none of them could truly fix his heart.
Just like Pinocchio, he had a wish as well. He desired to be a pilot. With the help of several contributions, American Airlines partnered with The Make-A-Wish Foundation to make his wish come true and they made him a pilot! Watch his journey below:
People like you have contributed their time, money, and resources to put smiles on so many children's faces. The world is full of problems but today you have a chance to be apart of the solution. You can contribute by giving, fundraising, sponsoring, or volunteering!
