Make Feeling Good A Priority
The practice of feeling good and making it a priority is a powerful way that you can create the best version of yourself and your life. It will not only change your life for the better; it will also help change the life of others. When you change how you feel, the world naturally changes around you. You attract to you how you feel. Your thoughts are also important but your feelings are the subconscious anchors behind your thoughts. In other words, you could be thinking positive thoughts but if you’re not aligned with positive feelings you’ll be struggling against yourself.
If your mind is positive but your feelings are negative, you will create a constant tug-of-war between your heart and mind. And this truth will be reflected in your outer reality. It is impossible to attract positive things towards your experience if you’re feeling negative about whatever it is. Sure, you may attract positive things for a moment or two but they’ll be sabotaged by your underlying negative feelings about it.
This is why it’s crucial to make feeling good a priority in your life. Now, what is feeling good? Feeling good can be defined by anything that makes you happy in that moment so long as it’s not something harmful to you or someone else. And to let you in on a little secret, practicing this in my life helped me climb out of a deep depression. It was definitely not easy at first but it can help you radically change your life for the better one step at a time

When practicing the Art of Feeling Good, you consciously choose to do whatever it is that gives you a feeling of peace, joy, happiness, or gratitude in that moment. It doesn’t matter how small or how big it is. If you need to start with something really insignificant and work your way up that’s totally fine! As long as you actively choose to enjoy what makes you feel good, that is all that matters in the moment. This can be anything from admiring a painting on the wall to going bungee jumping. When I was feeling at my lowest point, I was only able to find a good feeling by just being grateful for the really small things like my cup of coffee in the morning. I slowly worked my way out of my dark days by focusing on the super small things then gradually working my way up. It was a life saver.

Many times we are focused on getting something or being with someone in order to be happy or feel good. What we’re really after is the feeling of feeling good. We chase after whatever it is hoping that once we have it we will feel good. But we’ve got it backwards. The universe doesn’t work that way. The universe automatically responds to what we’re feeling and if we’re feeling struggle and loneliness then we will attract more of that feeling.
If we want to feel good, we must take an active part in changing our feelings and choose to feel good BEFORE we have obtained whatever the goal is. We can have the good feeling right now. And when we’re already feeling good and our thoughts are positive, we will rapidly manifest our desires much more easily.
This is the key to happiness. You must choose to be happy in each moment. And the universe will bring you more happiness and multiply your good feelings.
Try this and watch as it seems to magically bring more and more positive experiences into your life.
