Women Making History in Park City!
Independence Day weekend was different in a GREAT way this year for Future Generations Now. We had the chance to meet and support a few incredible women of Park City, UT, who are all about making BIG waves for change.
The Big Deal: Nann Worel, Park City’s Councilwoman, could be the city’s first female Mayor! Tana Toly, a longtime Parkite and co-owner of The Red Banjo, is also in the running for a seat on the City Council!
To celebrate, ChefDance hosted a brunch event at its Park City headquarters on July 3rd, where our closest neighbors and residents gathered for great food and a meet-and-greet with each candidate. It was super inspiring to hear from Nann and Tana, and how they plan to take on the challenges facing the city. It was also a major thrill to honor these women with my original poem on gender equality, “Lucky Little Girls”.
We had an incredible time celebrating with Nann and Tana, and wish them the very best of luck in their campaigns!!!
