to my best friend since kindergarten

it’s senior year, and you’re still my best friend. we’ve experienced everything together. from getting detention, getting “gotchas”, sitting together at recess, passing notes in study hall, drama and especially breakups. but my favorite is getting to experience our friendship. no matter how much we stop talking, we can always pick back up right where we left off. you’re always the first person I tell my secrets too. I’ll never forget when I was the only one that knew about your condition besides your family, and it stayed like that for years. since the first day we met, as 5 year-olds, we’ve trusted eachother. we’ve went through every single grade together, and this is our last. it’s time for us to make it worth it. you’ve made the biggest impact on my life and I’ll never be any less of a friend to you. I can’t thank you enough for being the best sister I never had
