The District at Campus West: The Ideal Living Space for CSU Students
So mom and dad have helped you pack your bags, drive you up, and drop you off at your very first apartment. Finally you have a space to call your own. But what made you choose this space? Was it the location, the amenities, the cost? The District at Campus West is the most logical option of off campus living and the most beneficial to students lifestyles because of the location, the accommodations made for all residents, the social gatherings that the staff plans, and reserved parking.

If you want to make it to your classes on time, while living next to 200 other CSU students, The District at Campus West should be your new home. Being .1 miles from campus, The District thrives as the most talked about apartment community in the Fort Collins area for many reasons. Sure, you have lots of options when choosing your ‘home away from home’ but the obvious option is The District. But, what makes the District stand out above the rest?

With up to six floor plans, The District has a variety of choices when it comes to how many roommates you want to have. Two bedrooms, three bedrooms, four bedrooms, and townhouses are available for rent. The District accommodates for all of their residents. The buildings are wheelchair accessible equipped with elevators. Some units were built specifically for those who are disabled with accessible bathrooms, lower counters and appliances, and more room to move around. To make move in and move out easier than any other complex, the units are fully equipped with all the furniture you need, including your own washers and dryers! Residents may have to pay a little extra monthly for reserved parking in the parking garage, but who doesn’t love not having to scrap their car off when the snow storms start rolling in?
A main advantage that this apartment complex includes is the blog page on their website. The blog page keeps residents up to date with all the fun activities planned throughout the school year. These social gatherings are a great way for all the residents to meet their neighbors as well as The District staff. Free food is often included in these events, which makes them even more appealing to attend!

Although The District might cost a little more than other places to live, you can end up saving money in the long run by not buying a parking pass to the CSU on-campus lots. Being only a 15 minute walk from campus, and across the street from a bus stop, it is extremely easy to commute. Those who choose to live farther away and have to drive to campus, will end up spending up to $400 to buy a parking pass.
All these extra benefits set out this apartment complex from the rest, although there has been some small negative reviews posted about The District. The District’s average star rating on Google is 3.5 out of 5. Mark Land stated, “I am a parent of a CSU student staying at this place from August ’14 until August ‘15. I would not recommend this place to any parent. It is overpriced, poorly maintained, some of my son’s mail has been lost.” Given the benefit of the doubt, this was a comment posted by a parent and his son may feel completely different about living at The District. There was also a large amount of 5 out of 5 star comments and reviews that followed.
