Once you practice for awhile, you can take notes and conduct an interview at the same time. Relying on the tape is a false economy: you are all but guaranteeing that you will spend twice as long reviewing videos. Try very hard to take notes while interviewing. Don’t get in the habit of not taking any notes at all. Push yourself to learn how to do both. It will pay off eventually.
