Ah, but you have to factor in that you use less shampoo and conditioner for short hair. Should count for something :-). Oh, and then there’s all the time you save because washing and drying take much less time with short hair.

I too have short hair and used to go to someone I thought was a great stylist at $65/cut every five weeks. When I was trying to cut back, I found someone closer to my office who charges $20. Even though I tip $10, that’s still less than half the price, and in the end, I think the new stylist just copies what the old one did. If there’s a big difference in my cut, I can’t see it and don’t worry about it.
