But what about the writers who don’t have agents or people who read their work, or a team around them to build their career? I’m not necessarily interested in how you acquire these things — there are thousands of articles about “the best way to become a writer” coming out all the time — but I’m more interested in writing as a lifestyle versus a career. Judging from this article, it sounds like you’ve had a lot of ups, which is fantastic (congrats!), but I’d be more interested in hearing about your writing routine, the “even keelness” of writing in your life, in spite of all of the great success you’ve had thus far. What has changed? What hasn’t?
