I have battled sleep maintenance insomnia for the last 10 years and employ a lot of your recommendations. It’s interesting, for me at least, to see how I personally grow after every bout (multiple weeks, less than 5 hrs a nite).
Currently, I’m getting decent sleep but definitely not enough; however, my current revelation (which you mention as well) is that it’s ok to not sleep 8 hrs a night. I got really into the 90 minute sleep cycle research out on the interwebs and have Jedi mind tricked myself that 3 hrs ain’t that bad.
It’s a struggle, but mindfulness training and yoga have been really beneficial for me as well. Thanks for the Buddha app reco-great read and good luck!
