How to take part in the Gotchi Heroes Pre-launch sale
Within this post you will get all the info on exactly how to take part in the Gotchi Heroes Pre-launch sale.
The Market
We have our game and market website on different addresses, so in order to take part you need to visit the market website to open packs and take part in the sale.
The Minting
Once you are in the market you will need to sign in with your Metamask wallet. After you successfully signed in you will see some options on your right. Find the “MINT PACKS” button and click on it. Once you approve some GHST you should be able to make your purchase.
Now that you are on the mint page you have the option to mint:
- Starter pack
- 1 to 5 booster packs
Starter pack
To be able to play the game you will only need one starter pack so no need to buy more than one. Unless you want to purchase more to send to friends or guild members. Starter packs contain a weapon, skill, area, a play token and 7 randomly generated items. This is all you need to start your game, be placed on the leaderboard and be eligible for rewards.
Booster pack
A booster packs contains five items of which one is a guaranteed rare or higher. Within these packs you can find any item that the game has to offer, they can all be used to upgrade the items you have or be equipped to increase your DPS.
Pre-launch Sale Discounts:
Each bracket will contain 500 Booster packs and the prices below are per booster pack. We decided to only go as high as 5 packs per transaction to ensure everyone has a fair chance to get packs and that one single buyer won’t snatch up most of the packs as soon as we go live.
Bracket 1 : 2.5 GHST — SOLD OUT
Bracket 2 : 3 GHST — SOLD OUT
Bracket 3 : 3.5 GHST
Bracket 4 : 4 GHST
Bracket 5 : 4.5 GHST
Once one bracket is sold out the next bracket will start within a few hours and will be announced on twitter and discord.
After this pre-launch sale the prices will go back to normal at 5 GHST per booster pack.
Starter packs will be 10 GHST instead of their normal 15 GHST price tag. After the initial 2500 booster packs have been sold the price of starter packs will go back to 15 GHST.
When will the first season of gameplay start?
Now that all the testing is done we have put our gameplay site into maintenance mode so even though you have all your new shiny items you will have to wait a while before you can put them to work.
After 8 testing round each lasting 2 or more weeks we are confident that the seasons mechanic is ready for Polygon mainnet. With our testing rounds we paid out over 1000 GHST in total and some Aavegotchi Paarcels to the top players, but now we aim for a much larger reward pool to reward all players. Thus, we decided to have the pre-launch sale, to get some more reward funds for the winners and players of the first season.
If all goes well we will see the first season of gameplay within this year around 3–4 weeks from now.

Even though we test things as much as we possibly can, the majority of our game and items are still very Alpha and errors might still occur. This is still not the final product and we are striving to make it as good as we possibly can in the near future. It is possible for metamask to take a while to purchase your pack or there might be an error when calculating gas prices. As always, as with some transactions, raising the gas price might help speed things up.
