I feel the exact same way! I’m a member of the fan group on Facebook and the “remake” has been getting bashed over and over again in the comment every time there’s a post about it. I always chime in reminding people that RHPS is about love and expression and that we should be glad a major network is even considering it. Everyone assumes its just a “remake” of the original movie but fail to remember the original was actually a stage production and creative license is still taken every time the play is performed.
