Fantastic series, this covers a lot of complex subjects well!

I am not (yet?) a believer in the One True Way™ that is Functional Programming. However I do believe that it’s an important tool in one’s belt when writing software at many levels (not just the web or web front-end). Used appropriately it can vastly improve software quality.
