The Myth of a Superhuman AI

I feel the author misses the forest by focusing on the trees. All the species that exist today, do so because they are best suited to survive in their current environments, they evolved toward it over millions of years. AI has a very high probability of evolving rapidly, (in years or decades) by having a very tight evolutionary feedback loop. We should invest in caution, to avoid a nasty surprise.
