The Galaxy S7 edge uses the same camera tech as the Galaxy S7, which featured a f/1.7 aperture (to let in more light in lowlight situations), Dual Pixel tech (autofocus faster).

Hardware is francially the same, but what’s in the inside is a powerful Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, which increases performance 30% more than the S6 edge/S6.

The S7 edge comes with a themed/skinned version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, renamed as Marshmallow OS.

The battery is killer. The battery has increased to 3600mAh, in such a thin and elegant device. Samsung hasn’t shied away from the microUSB 2.0 cord, after rumours stated that the company was going to implement USB Type-C this year.

Edgy Tricks

The edge display have new widgets and shortcuts when being swiped upon. Developers can work with the SDK to create great shortcut functions for users from the edges of the display.

Unlike the S7, Galaxy S7 edge features a larger 5.5" QHD Super AMOLED display. This display, also, has an always on feature which lets you glance at notifications, the time, & the date.

microSD & Water Resistance

Both the S7, S7 edge have water resistance and a much awaited microSD card slot on the top of the device.

Samsung’s Galaxy S7 edge is much similar to the S7, just with a bigger display, new edge tech, and a killer reputation.
