With an all-new 12MP camera, with dope camera tech implemented, the Galaxy S7 should be another one of top contenders for the best smartphone cameras of this year. Dual Pixel technology helps focus faster and an f/1.7 aperture brings in more light without increasing noise to lowlight photography.

microSD, Water Resistance

2 things that people disliked about the Galaxy S6 was the lack of microSD expansion & water resistance. Galaxy S7 features a microSD card slot on the top of the device and water resistance at IP68.

The hardware is fairly the same, but the performance behind it features a device that is 30% faster than the S6. The power that’s making this possible? A 3KmAh battery, 4GB RAM, Qualocomm’s newest chipset: the Snapdragon 820.

The Galaxy S7 features a 5.1" QHD Super AMOLED display. With a beastly display, consumers will get an always on display, which is always on & shows the time, a few notifications, and the date. What you’ll see on this display is a skinned Android 6.0 Marshmallow, named Marshmallow OS (Courtesy of Samsung). Another device also was released today, running the same OS, but a different screen size, and dope edge screen tech *cough* S7 edge *cough*

Samsung seems to have done it again with a great fixer upper update to it’s Galaxy lineup.
