Book Review of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Book 4 😃

Book Cover

So far this was the best book in the series yet. Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan is a wonderful series! Look no forward to the next Harry Potter; meet Percy Jackson. Percy is a boy who is a half-blood; meaning half mortal and half god. His father is the greek god Poseidon, and he goes to Camp Half-Blood, a safe place for Half-Bloods like him. His two good friends, Annabeth, a half-blood like him, and Grover, a Satyr who also attends Camp Half-Blood is always a good friend to Percy Jackson. He also has a brother named Tyson, who is a Cyclops. And Percy is always being chased by monsters, and he tends to kill them with his trusty sword, Riptide. Oh, and did I mention that mortals cannot know about Half-Bloods, and that’s why they have something called the Mist; it is a supernatural force controlled by the goddess Hecate that twists a mortal’s sight from seeing monsters, gods, Titans, and other supernatural occurrences by replacing them with things the mortal mind knows about and can comprehend.

In this book, the terrible Titan Lord Kronos rises with the help of Percy’s old friend, Luke, who decided to go over to the evil side. It all started like this:

Kronos’s army is getting stronger every minute, especially with the help of Luke Castellan, Percy’s old friend. Even the Camp’s magical borders that protect the Camp from monsters and other things are getting more vulnerable as time passes on. And when the camp realizes that Kronos’s army is using the Labyrinth, an underground maze that if used correctly, can travel anywhere very fast, they can directly assault the Camp and then overthrow the Greek gods. Realizing that one of the entrances to the Labyrinth is in the camp, Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Tyson go on a quest to get the very string that can guide you in the Labyrinth without running into any traps, to stop Kronos’s army from invading the camp and overthrowing the Greek gods. Will they succeed?

That is, if they survive of course…

As I mentioned before, this is my favorite book yet because this is very thrilling and has a great ending (No Spoilers!) and the book starts of at a great angle. I would probably rate this book 4.9 out of 5 stars because everything was great except one or two small parts of the book which was a little bit boring.

Enough about ratings. Harry Potter is just like Percy Jackson because Percy is Harry, Annabeth is Hermione, and Grover is Ron. It’s also because Harry is a Wizard, and Percy is a Half-Blood. They’re pretty much the same.

But overall, I haven’t read the 5th book of Percy Jackson, and I’m looking forward to it, but this was the best one so far and I would definitely read it again after I finish the series. My recommendation for this is for people who like Greek Mythology and adventure. Lots of adventure.

Anyway, that’s all for now! I’ll be writing more reviews soon :)

I love Ninjago and books (specifically Percy Jackson) so I will write about mostly those things. By the way, I love Ninjago almost more than anything.
