How to love a fat person.
Your Fat Friend

Thanking a dear friend for sharing this post, where I found it on facebook. As a person recovered from anorexia after a long, difficult battle, I found myself so resonating with what you share….while I may not have looked “fat” on the outside, I surely felt it on the inside. There are times when I still do, especially as I approach 50 and my body finds its own unique “surprises” to offer me (often aided and abetted by gravity and a slowing metabolism) which brings up long-forgotten and never-missed aspects of my past battle in fresh new ways. Bless you for being a voice of hope and honesty in the wilderness of our culture’s vast and impossible hatred of bodies-just-as-they-are. ❤
