Intelligence is a fluid term in human culture. There is a belief in their society that the old are more intelligent than the young. They call this intelligence gap “Wisdom.” Humans measure wisdom with oral and written exams. These exams can give humans greater social standing. Imagine, dear reader, if someone asked you how many years you had been in the great sleep. Also imagine that if you gave the wrong answer that you would be given a smaller sleeping pod. If you gave the right answer, you would be given a bigger pod. I know, I know. It’s unthinkable. You would rather die, wouldn’t you? No one, except a member who had gone insane from the great sleep, would ever ask such a question.
