SAT gets makeover for 2016

The SAT, a college placement test for high school students, has been drastically modified for the upcoming testing season. Students will be tested on more sophisticated passages of literature as well as wordier math problems. Many students are fearful of the upcoming test date in March.

US schools seek integration

United States schools have become increasingly segregated by both race and income over the past several years. The Century Foundation, a left-leaning think tank, is attempting to reintegrate races and incomes in the public school system. Through the use of lottery schools and changes in attendance zones, they hope to create an equal learning experience for students of America.

Trump avoids linguistic discrimination

By keeping his New York accent, Trump appeals to a wide variety of potential voters. Though Trump is not viewed as being compassionate or likable, his bluntness offers other characteristics, namely competency and intelligence. By retaining his accent, Trump is able to relate to potential voters and establish himself as a man of linguistic empathy.
