What do these things have in common: Radiohead, Fox News and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Earlier this week Radiohead was nominated for the The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2018, so obviously the world was dying to hear what Fox News had to say and they did not disappoint.

Fox New correspondant Kat Timpf made a dig at Radiohead saying they were a shoo-in for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since it’s all about “fame not talent.” Timpf then went on to say that “the kind of guys that I like have to be three things: strange, malnourished, and sad and those guys always like Radiohead.”

So it should come as no surprise that Radiohead fans not only disagree with Timpf’s description of them but also her description of the bands sound, decribing it as “elaborate moaning and whining over ringtone sounds.”

Even online music publication Consequence of Sound threw some shade back at Fox News.

But it was Radiohead keyboardist Jonny Greenwood who had the best clap back by changing his Twitter profile description.

Keep doing you, Radiohead 👏
