Design can be beautiful. So can data. What happens when you combine the two? Your audience walks away with a better understanding of what they just looked at.

Imagine being given ten pages of raw data and being told to digest and understand the information….quickly. For most people this would be an overwhelming request. Where do I start? What is most important? What the hell am I even looking at?

Not cool.

Our job as UX designers is to create a user friendly environment for our customer. Unfortunately a giant wall of information isn’t the most inviting to most users. So what’s a UX designer to do? DIGEST AND DESIGN! It’s our job to muddle through all of the information and create something that is easily understood by our user.

By making data more visually appealing, we’re helping the user to quickly and efficiently understand complex set of data. Not only that, but by transforming your data into something eye catching, you’re also likely to widen your audience and bring in new potential users.
