The biggest obstacle we face is resistance. I am currently reading a book by author Steven Pressfield, and he states that artists and writes alike everyday face the biggest opponent in the field of creativity, themselves.

We can’t be afraid to sit down and write the words. We can’t be afraid to put it down on paper. We can’t be afraid to devote our mind and body to this exercise.

Writing is hypnosis, and the hardest part about submitting yourself to this practice is the first initial step.
