Hello busy moms! School run, soccer practice, dinner, lunch, dishes, homework, the next school run. Rinse, repeat until kids turn 21. HOW IS IT LIKE THIS?? Can you even say that you’re into the part of parenting where you’re not sleep deprived? Well, ha! Turns out, there’s a way to transform the chaos into calm. Yes, Welcome to my article on some game-changing and time-saving hacks that will change your life. Do you find yourself forgetting tiny, yet significant details, like your kids’ shoes when it’s pouring rain outside, or that they’re supposed to completer their homework? Don’t say F-it just yet, mommy — I’ve got your back. ❤️

Imagine a situation where you’re not constantly racing against the clock. Where you can spend time with your kids, truly enjoying the moments with them, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Sounds like a fantasy, doesn’t it? But what if you could make it come to life?

Let’s be real, parenting is hard as hell. You’re probably juggling so many different things at once — from work to housework, kids’ activities and more. It’s easy to feel like the chaos is spiraling and there is no way out. Turns out, you don’t have to feel this way and that there are plenty of time-saving hacks that can help you feel more in control. Let’s learn how to take that chaos and turn it into calm. 😎

Well, spoiler alert folks, I already know what you are thinking: ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah — I’ve heard those time-saving hacks before. They never work for me!’ I hear ya, I really do. But not all hacks are created equal, and having hacks that work for your family in your day-to-day life will help you in your quest to spend less time slaving away and more time living. And my goal today is to help you find some of those time-saving hacks! Well, let’s start with some simple ideas about time and then, just watch what happens to your life!

😊Time-Saving Hacks to Transform your Parenting Journey:

1. Plan Plan & Plan Some more. Get the weekday schedule/dinner planning/activity schedule all done on a Sunday night, or whenever you can, so you aren’t flying by the seat of your pants. Honestly, a little planning goes a long way. That’s works best for me at night.

2. Routines — Simplify your morning routine. Get up before the kids and BREATH! 😤Layout your outfit, pack lunches, and make a quick breakfast that can be made in advance. Try meal prep!

3. Delegate, Delegate, Delegate: You do not have to do it all yourself! Use your co-parenting partner, your children even your paid babysitter to share the load. Remember, teamwork makes the dream work! Remember, it’s ok if they don’t do it your way exactly. RELAX AND LET GO!

4. Lean into technology: Let technology be your ally — automate time-consuming chores such as grocery shopping and bill payments using apps and digital tools, so you have more time for what’s important.

5. Just Say NO: Actively and constantly say no to commitments and obligations that you don’t want to do because you can’t or don’t want to. ‘I don’t want to, my family’s buzzing like a swarm of flies right now, and I’m not going to be flying out tonight.’ You prioritize your family’s happiness for an hour over any social obligation or whatever. Honey, I haven’t been for two years, who gives a crap. My family comes first! 😊

6. Batch your tasks: if you can, do multiple similar tasks together. For example, doing three meals at once, or all of your errands in one trip. Sis, create the to-do-list now. Meal prep on Sundays have been life changing for me! Try it out!

7. Set Limits: Don’t feel guilty about setting limits with your time. Learn to say no to communal working, pinging emails and phone calls. “Airplane Mode”! Schedule scrolling time — and then use your phone’s alarm to remind you to STOP SCROLLING. (5 hours later…lol) 🧽

8. Take Care of Yourself: ‘Wait, didn’t you just say you can’t pour from an empty cup?’ That’s why, as a top priority, I schedule ‘me time’ for rest, solitude, refueling. Oh yeah, and I get to bed. 😴GO TO SLEEP!!! lol

Hope it helps you! Use these time-saving hacks to help you reclaim moments in your day, and enable you to parent with a more peaceful, balanced approach to all the beautiful chaos. Go on, give them a go, and let the calmness wash over you. Thank you for reading my article, I appreciate you! You’ve got this honey, LET’S GOOOO! 😘
