MALLORY JOHNS

Head of Social Media, Engadget

Mallory is a tech-obsessed musician, storyteller and social {media} butterfly!

She’s worn a few different hats throughout her career, but at the core she understands the value of using social media to tell stories and build communities.

In her past, she’s produced social content for the beauty brand OLAY, she’s ghost-tweeted for Lindsay Lohan, and she even had a short stint managing BlackBerry’s social media pages.

Currently, she’s the head of social media for Engadget.com where she manages a team handling social distribution and content creation across 8 social media channels reaching an audience of over 5M fans.

Her baby, since joining Engadget in November, has been Engadget’s Instagram account. And since revamping the page, she has grown the community over 65% in just 6 months.

When she’s not strategizing social strategy for Engadget, she can be found geeking out about ‘Game of Thrones’ or playing the piano.
