Yes, you read it right. I respect Cersei Lannister, the current queen of seven kingdoms, the woman you want to see dead so bad.

I shall not deny that Cersei Lannister is the sole reason for Ned, Oberyn, Robb, Catelyn, Margaery, The saprrow, Tommen and many more peoples death. I shall not deny that she is the badass bitch who just cares for herself and her family(Well who doesn’t? Family first right?).

Cersei wasn’t this bad always, circumstances made her so. She was just four years old when her mother died while giving birth to our hero Tyrion and anybody in Cerseis place would have hated Tyrion. Come on, don’t shake your head, I’m sure that even you, the reader, was jealous of your sibling while they got all the love and attention and so was Cerseis case. She lost the person who truly cared about her and her father Tywin wasn’t home all the time and so the only companion she had was Jamie. Now what kind of a woman has an incest relationship with her TWIN BROTHER but you guys really don’t seem to have a problem when the Targaryens wed amongst sister-brother right? Strange!

When Cersei married Robert she really did leave behind the past that she had with Jamie but Robert was definitely a horrible man. During their first night Robert came in all drunk and whilst he was making love to Cersei he called her Lyanna. He crushed Cerseis heart inside out. He never really loved her but Cersei definitely did in the beginning and when you don’t receive the love that you are giving to another person…you move on. Jamie loved her truly and so they ended up having one horrible, one dumb and one beautiful children together.

As a mother all she wanted to do was protect her children from any damn thing that could harm them and whenever she sensed a danger near any of her children, be it an animal or a man, she made sure she protected them well.

Her children were her greatest assets and when none of them survived the game of thrones she became this stone hearted woman. Now her only concern is Jamie, House Lannister and the Iron throne. Undoubtedly she is going to use all her power to protect them.

If Bran hadn’t seen Cersei and Jamie making out in Winterfell the whole story would be different. Maybe Cersei wouldn't be this bad.

Circumstances made her the monster that she is today but deep within there resides a mother in her who will go to any extent, do any shabby work to protect and save what is hers.
