DO YOU BELIEVE THAT EVERYTHING HAS TWO SIDES?

Why does everything have two sides? Is it to create some sort of balance? Is this how life makes sense if there are two sides? If we try and analyse this statement, it’s ok for certain scenarios and scary for some cases.

Let’s see some examples of what has two sides and try and understand why is it so.

1.Two sides of a coin

2. Day and night

3. Good and bad

4. Life and death

5. True and false

6. Beginning and an end

7. Positive and negative and many more.

There is also an in-between which is usually used if we cannot justify something. But largely our whole life is made of two sides of everything.

It justifies everything, it makes sense out of life and out of everything that exists. If we are born, we have to die one day. Nobody can be immortal, that’s how we create a balance on earth. So if there is a beginning then there is an end as well. And what comes in between is what we call life, which of course is again full of choices, and usually, two choices and what you decide on, your life takes that course. Whatever decision you take has its ups and downs. So you have to experience both to understand the value of either. Nobody can always be happy or always sad, everyone faces both emotions.

Since everything has a beginning, then there is an end as well. So just think about us living on this planet and using the natural resources and not all of us think about it. We hear about save water, save trees, save our planet, but how much do we think about what it means. Everything has to come to an end, and at the pace which we are moving and at how we are using our resources, how we are not being careful, things may have to come to an end at an earlier time than intended. The trees may vanish, if we do not keep planting them or if we keep chopping them. Freshwater may finish, the air we breathe may soon be not good enough, many animals will become extinct, the planet may come to an end much sooner. Luckily some people are fighting towards saving our planet, let’s help grow that family, let’s play our part as well so that we can delay the end for as long as possible.

Also, we all can feel the positive energy, but don’t you also feel that negative energy as well. So if God exists, then there is an evil that also exists. We can’t see either, but the presence of it can be felt. We see many movies, that depicts evil in various forms. The way it’s depicted may not be true, but there is an evil that exists. So when we feel low, depressed it’s a pull from that negative energy and when we are happy or we are content it’s a pull from the positive energy. So how to keep a balance, we need to have experienced both, then at least we know what we have to fight for. We have all witnessed the good and the evil, we have to decide what to worship.

You will also hear that every story has two sides. So we can’t always hear one side of a story and justify. So hear both sides of the story, sometimes one is right and the other is wrong or sometimes both are correct or wrong in their ways. It’s just that we always want our story to be the right one. Also if you hear the story of a success story of someone, they were not always successful, it was a journey. So when we hear someone has it all, you don’t know their journey. It had its ups and downs like everyone else.

Just imagine a day never ends or a night never ends, say we never die, we are always happy or always sad, everything is always positive, seasons never change. Do you think life would have had meaning if things never ended? It’s all planned and how amazing is it. A complete balance has been created, everything makes sense if it has two sides.

And between the two sides that is the beginning and the end, you have the in-between. That in-between that exists is the part which you have to make sense out of. So for many the in-between is the confusion, it is what is called life. So to create a balance in life we have to experience both sides of the coin, then only will we value what we have. And remember life is not always about you, everything that you see, use, need for your existence, just learn to respect those things. Don’t take anything for granted because nothing lasts forever, so if you take something, learn to give back. Then only a balance can be created. Don’t only think about your life, think about the next generation’s life as well.

Beautifully said

Life is like a coin. Pleasure and pain are the two sides. Only one side is visible at a time. But remember another side is waiting for its turn.
