Geeky Colour Wheel- Group Assignment
As part of the assignment we were asked to make groups within the LAD+SDM sub groups from our class. This is the first group assignment we encountered and here is run down to how the journey of this assignment
Phase 1 : Where do you belong ?
It was hard to place oneself in the barrage of themes that popped up in the group. “Should I join the food group, I know people there even though I'm not a very foodie person so to say”
I also really wanted to go forward and take the stride to create the GEEKY COLOR WHEEL- filled with collectables and souvenirs and a tons of story to tell. So I did !
Phase 2: Geeks Assemble !
The next hard task was to get people on board, it takes 6 people to apparently make a group here. Although we tried to on board people from the other discipline too, we ended being 5 strong SDM geeky folks :)
- Sneha Pant
- Swetha M
- Disha Garg
- Nirupama S
- Ganesh Gopakumar
Phase 3 : Open the Pandora's Box
Explore:
We all shared on our common group what all we have which we can call geeky / collectables
Define :
We decided to restrict our selves with antics, souvenirs, stamps and currencies and books
Phase 4: Drawing board
Prototyped :
We tried our hand at some visual composition of how we will represent all the functions here and also did a good bit of google research on it .
Design :
Finally we came up with two design outputs :
Learnings /Takeaways
- I was grateful to have a group which was enthusiastic but at the same time very mindful of everyone's time
- In these two weeks, with real life colour exercises , I believe I am more intuitive with colors, how they change and experience the ‘aha’ moment of realization with it.
